A rate increase will go into effect on October 1, 2023.

There will also be a water loss surcharge of $1.70 added to each bill. The PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION has issued the order for the surcharge. It is to be charged on each customer bill for 4 years to upgrade infrastructure, such as changing out old water meters and upgrading water main lines. A lot of the districts lines have been in place for many years, as they get older, they wear out, the surcharge is to help replace the water lines.

If you have a water outage or an emergency after hours, please call our after hours number (606) 679-1569. All other calls should me made to the office during office hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. We appreciate your cooperation. 

NO reconnect will be performed on the weekend. If you have an issue with your account, please contact the office during normal office hours.
